Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbs dijon mustard
  • a splash of 100% maple syrup
  • Place all ingredients in the jar, shake tocombine

*Balsamic is my #1 go to salad dressing, it’s good on everything! We eat it on a garden salad as well as green salads with fresh seasonal fruit. We also love this on a salad with apples, dried cranberries, goat cheese, caramelized onions and walnuts. Mixing fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts is one of my favorite salad varieties.

Lemon Garlic

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2-3 Tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Place all ingredients in the jar, shake to combine

*Like the balsamic, this is a great go-to dressing as well. It’s fantastic on either a green salad with vegetables, or a green salad with fresh seasonal fruit. Try adding quinoa for extra favor and protein.

Asian Sesame Ginger

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • toast sesame seeds in a dry non-stick skillet until golden, 7-8 minutes
  • Place all ingredients in the jar, shake to combine

*If you love Asian flavors, this is a wonderful way to just change up the flavor of your salad without changing the ingredients. However, for more of an Asian flare altogether, I like this Asian salad with quinoa, which stores great in a Mason jar for easy travel.
