Irvine Unified School District Reviews
Rating 4.22 out of 5 216 reviews
Rating 5 out of 5
IUSD schools have often demonstrated high academic achievement. The district is known for offering a robust Advanced Placement program, allowing students to take challenging courses and earn college credits while still in high school. Irvine is a diverse community with highly educated and involved parents. Parental support and involvement can positively impact a student's educational experience. The district typically invests in maintaining modern and well-equipped campuses. IUSD often provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, and clubs, allowing students to explore and develop their interests outside the classroom. The district usually employs well-qualified and experienced teachers, contributing to the overall quality of education. Although, I wish there was more club involvement and student life.

I have loved being apart of this school district. It is so clear that the staff really cares about you and wants to see you succeed. At times it was challenging, but I think that only made me a better student and has prepared me for what's to come. We had several opportunities to "change the culture" and create new traditions, all of which the staff and faculty supported and gave us the needed materials. I couldn't recommend this district more.

I would like to see changes in areas where academic club actives are more supported through the school and district. The Tier 2 and Tier 1 volunteering system needs to change accordingly as a form of this support so that clubs that host meetings outside of school does not need to worry about meeting times, but solely focus on school.
